How To Get Ripped Abs Without Crunches Part 2 (Video)
by Shin Ohtake on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 • 16 Comments
Here’s part 2 of a 3 part ab series. Following the same philosophy (from last week) that anti-movements patterns stimulate your abs better than flexing, twisting and crunching your abs, this particular exercise really hits your lower abs—especially that stubborn stomach pooch, right below your belly button!
Now doing this ab exercise alone won’t do the trick, but when you combine it with a clean diet (no refined carbs, no processed foods, no refined sweets) and an effective fat burning workout program, you’ll finally be saying “so long” to your lower belly pooch.
(Note: If you’re having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it directly on my YouTube channel and see if that helps)
Try this lower ab exercise out let me know how your abs feel.
Do you think this anti-movement works your lower abs better than regular ab exercises?
I’d love to know what you think. Please post your comments below.

i have used the wheel. i was doing a lot of abs: crunches, leg raises, leg lifts, etc. all the usual exercises. i started to use the wheel and could not believe how sore my ab muscles became, indicating to me that there was lot or areas there i was not reaching. good stuff the wheel

I cannot see the video. When I try to start it, the video states that there is an error. The video does not start. I went to the YouTube site and I get the same error message.

I can barely hear the audio on the video. Maybe you could work on getting a better microphone setup?

It looks like its more for your arms. I can see your triceps getting a
good workout—a lot of pressure is put on that area.
